and Gina-Marie Zoccoli
In the fast-paced PR world, staying on top of pop culture and industry news is a must! That’s why we, Deirdre and Gina-Marie, the LPR Fall 2024 interns, are thrilled to share our Weekly Trends Report. We’re here to keep everyone in the loop on all the latest buzz—from celebrity collabs and exciting product launches to influencer drama and cancellations.
The Weekly Trends Report is our secret weapon for staying sharp in an ever-changing landscape. In a field where timing and relevance are everything, having a dedicated report ensures we’re always aware of what’s happening around us. We hear it’s one of the most anticipated emails of the week, and it always creates some fun chatter across the agency.
To create our Weekly Trends Report, we begin by researching the latest headlines and trending stories across various platforms. We focus on popular hashtags, major online conversations, and significant news in the PR and entertainment world.
We also monitor influencer culture, including any drama or noteworthy PR packages. We compile these insights each week by searching the internet, monitoring social media, and following relevant industry sources. Once we gather the key trends, we organize the information into a concise and easy-to-read format.
At the end of each week, we send the completed report to the entire LPR team via email. Here’s a sample report we recently circulated:
